Kalamakis Nikolaos

Dr. Nikolaos Kalamakis holds a Diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2008), a Master’s degree in Geoinformatics with a specialisation in High-Precision Surveying Applications (2010), and a PhD in Geodetic Surveying (2020) from the Department of Geodesy and Surveying of the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering, AUTH.

His publication record includes 10 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed international journals, conference proceedings and honorary volumes. Since 2022 he has been teaching independently as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Rural and Surveying Engineering of AUTH, the Department of Spatial Planning and Development of AUTH, and the Department of Civil Engineering of IHU.

Since 2020 he has also been a member of the teaching team of the Interdepartmental MSc programme “Cadastre: Legal, Technical and Environmental Dimensions”, contributing in the area of Surveying and Photogrammetric Methods and Techniques. His research focuses on the study of geodetic systems and reference frames, modern methods for the collection, processing and analysis of 3D spatial data, and the analysis and monitoring of micro-displacements in complex structures and engineering works, among other topics.
