Course Contents
Students are introduced to a variety of academic and technical texts and forms of writing, oriented
towards the field of civil engineering. They also are encouraged to develop their oral expression and
speech skills.
Educational Goals
Upon completing this course students should be able to read and use technical terminology in the
field of Civil Engineering, both in oral speech and in text.
