Special emphasis is given to the method of Architectural Documentation as a\r\nmeans of recording and documenting existing structures for restoration and reuse purposes.\r\nLectures: Main concepts, definitions, terminology, general principles, legislation, scientific ethics\r\nregarding interventions in preserved and non-preserved structures, the concept and significance of\r\nmonuments and their surrounding environment, contemporary perspectives and examples of\r\ninterventions in buildings with heritage value. Focus on implemented studies of restoration and\r\nreuse of buildings and architectural complexes.\r\nProject: Theories and methods for approaching buildings and architectural complexes requiring\r\ndocumentation and restoration. Analysis of information retrieval methods through literature and onsite research. Architectural documentation methodologies depending on the object of study. Field\r\nexercise applying the aforementioned recording and documentation methodologies for buildings.\r\nCreation of pathology, typology, phase analysis and drawings of the buildings. Evaluation of\r\ninformation and drawings for the restoration of the buildings.
